Mohun Bagan SG & FC Goa Set for AFC Champions League Two 2025–26 Group Stage Battles
Indian football fans are in for a thrilling continental season as Mohun Bagan Super Giant and FC Goa gear up to represent the nation in the AFC Champions League Two 2025–26 group stage.
Mohun Bagan SG booked their spot in the prestigious competition by lifting the Indian Super League 2024–25 Shield, securing direct entry into the group stage. On the other hand, FC Goa’s journey came through the Super Cup 2024–25 victory, which granted them a place in the AFC Champions League Two preliminary round. Just three days ago, the Gaurs sealed their spot in the group stage after a hard-fought win over Omani side Al Seeb in the playoff.

One of the biggest attractions of this season’s AFC Champions League Two will be the presence of Cristiano Ronaldo, the five-time Ballon d’Or winner and global football icon, whose club Al Nassr will face FC Goa twice in the group stage. This marks a rare opportunity for Indian football fans to witness one of the sport’s all-time greats in a competitive fixture on Indian soil when Al Nassr visits Goa in October.
