Kolkata, September 11, 2026: East Bengal FC completed their final practice session at home before heading to Jordan for their AFC Champions League Two clash. The team will depart late on Saturday night to face Al Hussein in the first match of their AFC Champions League Two 2026–27 campaign. Antonio Habas and his Red and Gold brigade are all charged up for the challenge.

After a hard-fought and dominant comeback performance against Al Arabi in the qualifiers, Red & Gold Brigade have made their way onto the AFC Champions League Two stage. Following their Durand Cup 2026 championship and a well-planned preparation period, the team is now ready for the challenge ahead.

Though a few things are a concern, Vishnu and Jesin had slight injuries, although both have returned to training. Rashid, who has a minor injury concern, was not part of the final practice session at home. New signing Zivulic will be available for selection. On the topic of the striker, the coach showed confidence in Indian talent.

There are some concerns ahead of the game, especially with East Bengal going into the match without a foreign striker. Instead, he wants his team to deal with the current situation and give their best on the pitch.
