ISL 2025–26 Golden Glove winner Hrithik Tiwari joins Odisha FC from FC Goa on a one-year deal ahead of the 2026–27 season.
Kolkata, September 14: Hrithik Tiwari has started a new chapter in his Indian Super League career. The 24-year-old goalkeeper has completed his move from FC Goa to Odisha FC, with the Juggernauts signing the ISL 2025–26 Golden Glove winner on a one-year contract until the end of the 2026–27 season.
Hrithik Tiwari arrives at Odisha FC after an outstanding campaign with the Gaurs, where he established himself as one of the standout Indian goalkeepers in the league. His performances throughout the 2025–26 season earned him the Golden Glove, becoming the latest recognition in what has been a steady rise for the young goalkeeper.
During the 2025–26 ISL season, Hrithik Tiwari made 10 appearances and kept five clean sheets, while making 25 saves. His performances helped him finish the campaign as the goalkeeper with the Golden Glove, putting his name among the best goalkeepers in Indian football.
His achievement also made him the 10th different goalkeeper to win the Golden Glove in ISL history, further adding to the significance of his campaign with FC Goa.
The goalkeeper’s journey started with SAI Guwahati before he joined FC Goa’s youth setup in 2019. He progressed through the club’s development and senior teams before making his senior debut in the Durand Cup in 2021. He then made his ISL debut during the 2021–22 season.
Speaking about his move to Odisha FC, Tiwari expressed his happiness at joining the club and said he was excited about the new chapter in his career. He also admitted that winning the Golden Glove last season gave him a lot of confidence, but at the same time, he knows there is still a lot more to achieve.
The Juggernauts have brought in a goalkeeper who is coming off a Golden Glove-winning season and has already shown that he can handle the pressure of being a first-choice goalkeeper, was also FC Goa’s main goalkeeper during the previous campaign, featuring for the Gaurs in their AFC Champions League Two qualifiers as well as the AFC Champions League Two campaign, playing against Cristiano Ronaldo’s club Al Nassr, and others experienced opponents. His experience of playing in continental football adds another important quality to his profile as he now makes the move to Odisha FC.
