Kolkata, May 24: The SAFF Women’s Championship 2026 will be held in Margao, Goa from May 25 to June 6 at the Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium. With six teams, India, Maldives, defending champion Bangladesh, Nepal, Sri Lanka and Bhutan. The top two teams from each group will qualify for the semi-finals on June 3, and the final will be played on June 6 at 6:30.
Group A consists, Nepal, Sri Lanka and Bhutan. While India is in group B along with Bangladesh and Maldives.
A 26-member preliminary squad was announced earlier by head coach Crispin Chhetri, and the final 23-player squad is confirmed as tomorrow marks the kick-off day of the SAFF Women’s Championship 2026.
India’s SAFF Women’s Championship 2026 squad:
Goalkeepers: Panthoi Chanu, Ribansi Jamu, Shreya Hooda.
Defenders: Astam Oraon, Juli Kishan, Nirmala Devi, Purnima Kumari, Ranjana Chanu, Sarita Yumnam, Thoibisana Chanu.
Midfielders: Aveka Singh, Jasoda Munda, Priyangka Devi, Sanfida Nongrum, Sangita Basfore, Shilky Devi.
Forwards: Grace Dangmei, Karishma Shirvoikar, Lynda Kom Serto, Malavika P, Manisha Kalyan, Pyari Xaxa, Soumya Guguloth.
