Kolkata, March 20: In the ongoing ISL Mohun Bagan’s winning run came to an end in their own fortress against their challengers, Mumbai City FC. It was their first home defeat in the last two seasons, as Mumbai City FC beat Mohun Bagan SG 1–0 at the Vivekananda Yuba Bharati Krirangan on Friday evening.

The first half saw Mumbai City take the lead. In the 22nd minute, Mumbai City created the first real threat from a quick attack. Chhangte received a through ball from Diaz and attempted a shot, but the advancing Vishal Kaith made the save. From the rebound, Akash Mishra aimed for the empty net, but Mehtab Singh cleared it with a crucial header to keep the score level.
