Goals extravaganza! A memorable Weekend for East Bengal supporters and , an incredible start for Emami East Bengal FC in CFL 2024. Multitude of goals were scored by East Bengal FC today, at Barrackpore stadium on 30 June. A huge defeat for Tollygunge Agragami, with 7-1 lead East Bengal FC got their first victory in Calcutta Football League 2024.
After kickoff within two minutes Emami East Bengal FC started their attack, first shot on target was by Muhammed Rosal but it was saved by Tollygunge Agragami’s keeper Mithun Samanta . At 11′ minute midfielder Shyamal Besra scored season’s first goal for East Bengal FC from the right corner of the box, the shot was deflected by Tollygunge Agragami’s defender Balwinder Singh.
At 24′ minute Tollygunge Agragami got the first corner of the match. Within four mintute Tollygunge Agragami’s player Ronald singh took a shot from outside of the box but it was off target, At 30′ minute they got a possible goal scoring chance, Sanju Santra took a grounder shot towards the second post but missed it. In the last quarter of first 45′ minute Aman CK scored a long ranger goal from the left wing and made the scoreline 2-0 for East Bengal FC.
In the second half at 46′ minute Tollygunge Agragami open up their scoreline, Sanjay Sharma took a long ranger shot and placed the ball from the second post in to the side net, and scored the much Awaited goal for them. At 62′ minute East Bengal FC got a penalty, cause of a handball situation which was made by Tollygunge Agragami’s substitute player Rajdeep Sardar Jesin TK scored EB FC’s third goal from it, within four minutes he took a grounder shot towards the second post and scored his brace.
East Bengal FC continues their attacking play, At 75′ minute of the match EB got a corner kick, Tanmoy Ghosh took that shot but an incredible saved came from Tollygunge Agragami’s goalkeeper. Substitute player Sayan Banerjee center a ball from the left wing and substitute player Subrata Murmu scored a goal through it at 78’min.
Tollygunge Agragami got a corner kick at 85′ minute but failed to convert it in to a goal. East Bengal FC build an attack at 86′ minute, inside the box Subrata Murmu pass the ball to substitute player Ananthu And he couldn’t missed the chance to scored a goal for his team, he changed the scoreline into 6-1. In the added time at 90+1′ minute Sayan Banerjee scored a goal and finally settle down the scoreboard into 7-1 for Emami East Bengal FC, the beautiful assist was from Bijay Murmu.
In the starting of the second half Sayan Banerjee came to the field and left the field as coach Bino George’s super sub with a goal and an assist and with an outstanding performance, he was today’s man of the match . Throughout the match East Bengal FC’s forward Jesin TK did very eye catching performance he scored a brace today. Coach Bino George will be relaxed and happy after seeing his team’s performance in today’s match.
East Bengal FC have their next match against George Telegraph on 7 July , and Tollygunge Agragami will play their next match against Calcutta Customs on the same date.
