The winner of the match will advance to the quarterfinals. If the match ends in a draw, the advantage will be with DHFC.
Apuia Ralte injured his left knee a few days ago during a training session, but is now match-fit, according to the coach. However, the number of unavailable players in the Green and Maroon camp has increased. Due to injuries, Suhail Bhat, Manvir Singh, Kiyan Nassiri, Alberto Rodriguez, and Subhasish Bose will not be available tomorrow. Additionally, Dipendu Biswas will miss the match due to a yellow-card suspension.
Dimitrios Petratos landed in Kolkata at midnight and joined the matchday-minus-one practice session, though coach Jose Molina confirmed he will not be in the match squad after just one training session. Jamie Maclaren and Jason Cummings returned a few days ago and participated in some training, but the coach said they are still not fit enough to start.
On the other side, debutants DHFC won their last match with a huge 8-1 margin, dominating BSF FT. Their new Brazilian forward, Clayton Silveira, scored four goals in that match. He said this will be great as their opponents are the best team, but DHFC will try to continue staying at the top of the group. Coach Kibu Vicuna confirmed they don’t have any card or injury issues, and there will be no squad rotation tomorrow.
