At the Vivekananda Yuba Bharati Krirangan on Saturday, October 5, in the Kolkata Derby, Mohun Bagan Super Giant showcased a dominant 3-0 win against Mohammedan SC.
COMMANDING THE FIRST HALF: In Control of the Green and Maroons and Leading the Way!
In the Kolkata Derby, Mohammedan SC started the match with high-pressing football. However, in the 8th minute, Jamie Maclaren’s flying header gave Mohun Bagan SG the lead. The Mariners picked up the game’s momentum after taking the lead.

In the 13th minute, Cummins took a shot from the edge of the box. The keeper was off his line, but Mohammedan SC defender Zuidika made a great save and cleared the ball away.

In the 66th minute, Mohun Bagan launched a quick attack. Stewart made a run with the ball from midfield, cutting through three Black and White Army ballers, and took a long shot, but it went over the top of the bar.

Mohun Bagan attempted various shots in the second half, but no goals came. The first Kolkata Derby of the Indian Super League 2024-25 season ended with total dominance and 3-0 in favor of the Green and Maroon Brigade against Mohammedan.
