FROM DEBUT TO DOMINANCE IN ISL!

Golden Boot and Golden Ball winner of the ISL 2024–25 season, Alaaeddine Ajaraei left his mark in his style!

With the Player of the Tournament award and the Golden Boot, Alaaeddine Ajaraei signed off his maiden ISL season in remarkable fashion for Northeast United FC. He made 25 appearances and scored 23 goals. With his 19th goal, he broke the records previously held by Coro (2017–18) and Bartholomew Ogbeche (2021–22) for the fastest player to reach the highest goal tally in a single ISL season—achieved in fewer matches than both.

Alaaeddine also contributed seven assists this season, made 1,130 touches, attempted 47 shots on target, maintained a 72% passing accuracy, and displayed exceptional discipline by receiving only two yellow cards throughout the campaign. He played a total of 2,149 minutes.

Alaaeddine Ajaraei’s debut ISL season was nothing short of historic, a tale of brilliance, dominance, and class.

Vishal Kaith was awarded the Golden Glove of the ISL 2024–25 season

Vishal Kaith was awarded the Golden Glove of the ISL 2024–25 season, the guardian of the successful defending Shield champions and the ISL 2024–25 Cup winners, Mohun Bagan Super Giant. Vishal Kaith’s season to remember, pulled off his gloves in style for this season and marked his name under the post.

With 26 appearances, he made 15 clean sheets, had a 79% save percentage, and 266 recoveries. He conceded only 19 goals. Displaying admirable discipline, he received just two yellow cards.

This season, he also became the fastest goalkeeper in ISL history to reach 50 career clean sheets. With safe hands and unwavering focus, he protected the double, Shield and Cup, securing a historic double championship for Mohun Bagan Super Giant.

BRIGHTEST BRISON!

Emerging Player of the Indian Super League 2024–25, Brison Fernandes. The 23-year-old FC Goa midfielder was awarded the Emerging Player of the Year for establishing his brilliance in this ISL campaign. He has been part of the FC Goa senior team for the last three years and was previously in FC Goa’s Under-18 squad, and this was his golden season.

In this season, he made 24 appearances, scored 7 goals, provided 2 assists, and maintained a 75% passing accuracy. He conceded only 1 yellow card throughout the season.

With his stunning shooting ability, dribbling, and skills, Brison had an impressive campaign, standing out among fellow contenders Korou Singh and Mohammed Sanan in the race for the Emerging Player award. The brightest Brison won it.

He completed 25 key passes, won 74 duels, and helped the Gaurs effectively in attack. Under the guidance of Manolo in ISL 2024–25, Brison displayed a significant performance and now looks ahead to the next season with the Emerging Player award in hand.

BEST ELITE YOUTH PROGRAM: PUNJAB FC!

Punjab FC roared into the ISL 2024–25 with the youngest squad in the league. Their bold vision was rewarded with the Best Elite Youth Program award!

Punjab FC has been awarded the Best Elite Youth Program. The club focused on developing and polishing young talents, and in the ISL 2024–25 campaign, they showcased a youthful squad, the youngest in the league. The average age of their ISL 2024–25 squad was just 25.9 years.

The Shers received this recognition for their outstanding initiative and fearless approach, roaring proudly with the youngest squad on the stage of India’s top league, the Indian Super League.

BEST GRASSROOTS PROGRAM: RED MINERS!

Jamshedpur FC was awarded the Best Grassroots Program Award in recognition of their outstanding initiative to build a strong foundation for football through a well-structured approach.

The club developed a large number of football schools, enrolling over 350 children across age groups—U5, U7, U9, U11, and U13—providing them with access to quality football facilities.

In collaboration with Tata Steel, Jamshedpur FC extended their grassroots program to rural areas of Jharkhand. The club also focused on coach education by conducting various workshops.

Their grassroots development program is considered one of the highest-level initiatives in India among all football clubs. And for their commendable work, they were recognized by India’s top league, the ISL, this season.

The ISL 2024-25 wrapped up one of its best campaigns with a record 468 goals scored in a single season. It also featured the highest number of set-piece goals (157), most goals (144) and assists (140) by Indian players, and the highest goal contributions (111) from India U-23 players in a single ISL season.
