Hyderabad FC clinched their first win of ISL 2024 in their away match against Mohammedan SC. In the Kishore Bharati Krirangan, Hyderabad showcased a four-goal thriller and secured their first win with a score of 4-0 against the Black and White Army.
HYDERABAD FC NETS THREE GOALS IN A BREATHTAKING FIRST HALF!
Hyderabad kicked off the match in full domination. Within four minutes, Allan De Souza opened the scoring for the Nawabs. Inside the box, Ogier back-passed the ball to keeper Padam Chettri. Before his attempt, Allan intercepted the ball and placed it into the net.
In the 12th minute, Stefan Sapic doubled their lead. Within three minutes, Allan De Souza completed his brace and scored the third goal for Hyderabad with a long shot. Hyderabad FC delivered a three-goal thriller within fifteen minutes of the match to the Black and White Brigade in their home ground.
In the 36th minute, Franca found the net, but the goal was ruled out due to offside. In the 45th minute, from the left flank, Mohammedan SC built up another attack. Bikash Singh went inside the box and took a shot, but the Hyderabad keeper stood strong and saved it. Three goals down, Mohammedan SC had a maximum of 62% possession in the first half, but Hyderabad ended up with the advantage.

Hyderabad FC resumed the second half in the same style as the first. In the 51st minute, during an attack from the right, CY Goddard back-passed the ball to Parag Shrivas. From long distance, he took a shot and netted a stunning goal, bringing the fourth goal for the Nawabs.

Within two minutes, from a counter-attack, Mohammedan got an easy scoring chance. From the right side of the box, substitute player Manzoki took a shot, but it hit the second post. Since he was unmarked, it was a golden opportunity.
In the 80th minute, Mohammedan SC got another chance to score their first goal. From the left flank, substitute player Sajad Hussain delivered the ball to Franca inside the box. He took a shot, but it went wide.
Throughout the match, the Black and White Army attempted various shots and held a maximum of 60% ball possession, but Thangboi Singto’s team showed a determined performance to secure their first win. Hyderabad will be played their next match on October 30 against Mohun Bagan SG, and Mohammedan SC will play their next big clash against East Bengal FC.
