The game started with East Bengal FC asserting their dominance early on. EBFC started playing attacking. However, the breakthrough came in the 26’th minute from a corner kick, Tanmay Das delivered a ball into the, and Jesin TK found the back of the net from his fine header, giving East Bengal FC deserved lead.
