Again, Joby Justin has scored that all important goal for Diamond Harbour FC and brings another win for them. Today at Bidhnnagar MSC ground Diamond Harbour FC beat Suruchi Sangha with 1-0 scoreline. Both teams played a very competitive game.
In the first half, it has end with haphazard game, to many missed passes, off target shots, actions, but no score. At 6’th minute Debjit Basak took a right footed shut just from inside of the box but got saved by Susnata Malik, in the starting Suruchi Sangha got a very possible chance to open up their scoreline. From a counter attack at 11’th minute Diamond Harbour FC got a chance for scoring but when the cross came into the box Girik Khosla couldn’t connect with that perfectly.
At 37’th minute Diamond Harbour FC build up an attack, very well one to one play between Sheen and Joby Justin, Sheen passed the ball to Joby, he took the shot but got deflected by Suruchi Sangha’s defender. Girik Khosla missed another possible chance when he made a miss pass into the eighteen yards box, and the goal post was empty but Sheen failed to took the on-target strike. So, the scoreboard still remains nil nil with the half time whistle.
In the starting of the second half, Suruchi Sangha got a chance, when Dimple Bhagat took a left footed shot towards the net but the ball got deflected by the goal post. Within three minutes Souvik Ghosal committed a foul to Diamond Harbour FC’s midfielder Suprodip Hazra, they got a free kick from outside of the box, Sheen took that but not a well-planned shot. At 65’th minute Suruchi Sangha’s defender Totan Das did a goal line save to Sheen’s on target shots.
The next minutes Diamond Harbour FC build up another attack, substitute player Supriya Pandit delivered a cross from the left wing into the box, Girik headed out the ball to Joby and he made it into a goal! A very well-planned attack and team game by Diamond Harbour FC. At 74’th minute Suruchi Sangha got a free kick from just outside of the box when substitute player Rafique committed a foul to Jaideep Singh, but they wastage the opportunity. In the added time Amit Tudu took a powerful long ranger shot but Diamond Harbour FC’s keeper Susnata Malik saved the ball, Suruchi Sangha failed to open up their scoreline till the end.
